- CCC - Chaos Computer Club
Germany's best known computer club, dealing with privacy and Internet safety issues.
- EPIC - Electronic Privacy Information Center
EPIC is a public interest research center in Washington, D.C. It was established in 1994 to focus public attention on emerging civil liberties issues and to protect privacy, the First Amendment, and constitutional values.
- Privacy International
Privacy International is a human rights group formed in 1990 as a watchdog on surveillance and privacy invasions by governments and corporations.
- Center for Democracy and Technology
The Center for Democracy and Technology works to promote democratic values and constitutional liberties in the digital age.
