Download and install the latest version of Direct Connect++.

 

Click on File, Settings. Then adjust as depicted below:

The left picture shows the settings to use if you are not using Your Freedom's OpenVPN mode but you are using server port forwards (TotalFreedom only; you need to use your assigned ports, of course!). The right picture shows the settings when using OpenVPN mode and server port forwards. If you do not have server port forwards (non-TotalFreeom users), select "Firewall".

It is important that if you are using server port forwards, you properly configure the Your Freedom server's IP address as your external IP address. This IP address is displayed in the Your Freedom client's status panel when you are connected. If you switch servers, you need to adjust it!
