This page describes how you can play Planetside through a restrictive web proxy or firewall with Your Freedom.

You'll need:

• A properly configured YF client - the author of the original tutorial (http://psforums.station.sony.com/ps/board/message?board.id=pstechsupport&message.id=42997) also suggests to disable re-keying and encryption but we strongly advise to not disable these)
• one of the *cap tools (SocksCap, FreeCap or ProxyCap).
• (alternatively you could use OpenVPN mode and no socksification tool at all)

We will use Proxycap here:

• First of all get ProxyCap from http://proxylabs.netwu.com/download.html and install it on your computer.
• Configure ProxyCap as follows:
  Click to create a new proxy server and configure it as follows:

After that click on OK.

Now you have to add the game files to the program. Click on "rules" on the lefthand side of the window. Then click on "New Tunneling Rule" and a window similar to the one displayed below should pop up:

Find the file "Launcher.exe" executable in your Planetside directory and copy all the settings as displayed in the previous window.

Do the same thing for the other 2 files you see in the screenshot below (Launchpad.exe and Planetside.exe) and arrange them in this sequence. (The actual sequence does matter!):

Now you almost made it to configure ProxyCap. You just have to click OK and your done. You should see 2 googly eyes on your taskbar to indicate that ProxyCap is running.

Ensure that the YF client is connected to a YF server. Then start Planetside through ProxyCap.
