This page describes how you can play Lineage 2 through a restrictive firewall or proxy using Your Freedom.

Some have told us that for this game you need a paid version of Your Freedom because it is not playable with the Free Package. (As has been reported, even the "Basic" Package might not suffice as Lineage 2 is very resource-hungry.) But we have received a report that it is well playable with FreeFreedom if you increase process priority as described on the "Games" page.

Install Lineage II from a CD-ROM or download it from the official site: http://www.lineage2.com/guide/install.html

After the installation of the game you need Socks Cap. Permeo is no longer distributing it but you should be able to find a download link if you google for "sc32r240.exe download". If you can't find a working download, email us at support@your-freedom.net and we'll help you.

Install the program and configure it like in the picture displayed below:

 

Open Socks Cap and add the game:

Click on the "New" button on the Sockscap main window and then click on the browse button in the window that comes up.

Add the shortcut that the game created on your desktop.

Click Run and enjoy another game thanks to Your-Freedom.
